Radioactive Milk Found in Washington

Levels of radioactive Iodine-131 appeared in Milk samples tested in Spokane Washington. That is here in the USA. The EPA and FDA jumped on the case and assured us that the milk is still safe to drink and that there is absolutely nothing to worry about.  Of course, that is what we heard about Japan... two weeks ago.  Stay out of the rain folks. Here is a link to the article.

Meltdown to Fallout

So the MSM is finally saying that the reactors in Fukushima are in a state of nuclear meltdown.  The next stage will be nuclear fallout. It will be important for everyone around the globe to stay one step ahead of the talking heads and understand how this can and will affect them. Here is a radiation dosage chart that is simple to understand.  And this MIT graph allows you to compare measurements.  Although trace amounts have been detected in the rain across the world, we shall see that it is the duration of the event not the amount of the element that is going to make an impact.  Keep track on the Jet Stream.

God Bless.

London's Clashing

It's just not the kids rioting in the U.K anymore. The middle class is on the street today. There are estimates from 100,000 to 3,000,000 people on the streets protesting government cuts to social programs.  The video posted shows a conservative parlimentarian putting a spin on the situation warning viewers that if cuts are not imposed now the U.K will end up like Portugal and that the majority of people want more cuts.  This is beggining to sound very familiar. I hope this is not a bell weather, however i am increasingly becoming more skeptical as we are falling in line with the rhetoric here across the pond.  Click  for live coverage of protest. Make up your own mind.

Is the melting pot boiling over?

The leaders of three major E.U Nations have come out against multiculturalism.  Germany, the U.K and France have all said that multiculturalism is a failed policy. Who is the target? And how long until that same rhetoric starts to reach the United States? A nation which built its reputation on being the melting pot of the world.

FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY

I might be late to the game but Rebecca Black sang Bob Dylan's song Friday and has been receiving a lot of flack for it. The words are almost the same, however Dylan puts a hipster swing on it that almost makes the song bearable.  Another twist to the Black Friday saga is that if you play her song backwards and slow it down... Thats right... you get to hear some real creepy things. Check it out here.

Radioactive Fart

The radiation cloud has crossed the Atlantic Ocean and is reaching Europe today. Experts say that there is no risk in the levels of radiation to the population. But the rapid spread of the flume is alarming. A simulation of the cloud’s route is available through Météo France on the IRSN website here.

Two Suns 4 Real?

On 3.2.11 major Chinese outlets reported two suns in China. After the video was brought to the scientific community, they had no definitive answer to give the public. Answers ranged from an illusion to a blog in the atmosphere. It seems pretty coincidental since Huffington Post recently said that we would have two suns at any time.

Drop Water Not Bombs

The tragic events in Japan have the world's attention. But the attention has turned from solution based coverage to fear mongering, as usual when it comes to events like this.

The media is showing endless loops of a failed nuclear plant, and water cannons spraying water attempting to cool down a melted reactor. It's like pissing on a forest fire.

As a society if we can invent robots that can guide a missile from the atmosphere that can land in the lap of a bad guy, It's sad that we can not modify those same robots to drop cold water on a hot situation.

More Dead Fish, More Questions

The millions of sardines that engulfed Kings Harbor Marina in Redondo beach tested positive for domoic acid.  This is the nasty litter bugger responsible for making Red Tide so unbearable.  What they don't tell us about domoic acid is that in mammals it acts as a neurotoxin, causing short-term memory loss, brain damage and, in severe cases, death.

But there was 72 Tons of dead sardines, so this must have been one hell of an algea bloom. Not to mention that domoic acid is usually found in sardines because they feed on phytoplankton which produces... domoic acid.

So is this just another stall tactic by the scientists?  I don't know, I guess time will tell. At least they didn't tell us it was fireworks.
